Carnival in Mazatlán
Carnival in Mazatlán is one of the more important festivals in the state and is considered one of the best Carnivals in the country. Mazatlán, in full Carnival dress, receives visitors from all over the world in a town festival that overflows into the streets and malecón. The celebration consists of the "Quema del Mal Humor" or "Burning of Bad Humor", the election of the Queen and King of the Carnival, and concludes with the parade of decorated cars and floats.
